Santa saves the day.

The Santa Emergency is another great short read by Nell Iris. For me, she remains the queen of short MM romance stories. For a little bit while reading this I thought Nell had managed to write a story that didn’t bring any tears to my eyes. I should have known better. 😊

Because this is a pretty short book the story takes off right away with Sigge’s new neighbor begging him for help on Christmas Eve. Kristian is indebted to Sigge for his help and brings him leftovers from the meal he had with his family. This is the real beginning of their relationship even though Sigge doesn’t do relationships.

It wasn’t until the epilogue, set two years later, that Nell managed to make my eyes leak. The way Sigge gently explained about Santa to Kristian’s nephew was so sweet; it really touched my heart.

As long as Nell keeps writing such wonderful stories, I’ll be here to cheer her on. Merry Christmas!
