BIG BRASS BUCKLE
This was a very hot, sexy short story. Delilah Devlin writes the best sexy stories! Although this is quite short it’s a great story about 2 people who meet because of a storm and later realize they have sort of a connection through their families.

PITCH BLACK
I love Delilah Devlin’s writing, short or long, it doesn’t matter. This is a very short story and shouldn’t be judged the same as a full length novel or even novella. The writing is the same great style that I’ve come to expect from this author.

The story kept me on the edge of my seat and I enjoyed it very much. I would say that while this is a short story it is one that I could definitely see being turned into a novel or novella. I’d like to learn more about this couple.

THE PLEASURE IN SURRENDER
I keep saying it – Delilah Devlin is the queen of erotic shorties. Somehow she manages to get me vested in her stories and characters even when they are quite short. Because this one is very short a lot of character development can’t be expected but it doesn’t matter, the story is still very enjoyable.

ONE TRACK COWBOY
This cowboy is the silent type but he gets his message across!
This is a short, hot story, just right for a lunch break. Delilah Devlin knows how to write hot stuff of all different lengths! This one of the shortest I’ve read of her stories but it’s still very satisfying.

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR SKJALDMAER
Torvald was promised one of Hagar’s daughters as a wife; one “so fair roses blushed in dismay” but what he got instead was one with a tall angular frame and ruddy complexion. Hagar had pulled a switch on him. It didn’t take Torvald long to realize he much preferred Solveig to her sister.

Solveig wasn’t meek and didn’t dress like a maiden but Torvald was intrigued by her. She was strong of body and will; qualities that would serve him well; a lady’s skills could be taught.

This is a short story but Delilah Devlin is adept at creating a complete picture with few words. Reading how Torvald and Solvi interact with each other is steamy and entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

JOHNNY BLAZE
This is another fantastic shortie by Delilah Devlin. It’s Bridget’s birthday and her friends have taken her to a strip club. What she doesn’t know is that it’s a set-up. Her secret crush is there and the sparks fly.

I read this one right before I turned in and boy did I have sweet dreams!

While this erotic short story gets to the point quickly I still feel like there is a story and not just sex. This is one of my favorites.

RED DAWN
This is a hot little sci-fi story. Living on Mars and being a farmer was never so good.

In conclusion…
One thing I really like about Delilah’s writing… her books are erotic without being crude. By that I mean she manages to paint very steamy, erotic scenes and yet I don’t feel like I need to shower off the dirt when I’m done reading them. Don’t get me wrong, I can enjoy a really good dirty book now and then but I get a lot more enjoyment out of reading something where I feel at least a little connected to the characters.
