My name is Mia Beck, and I’m a lucky girl . . .
Billionaire Damien Call didn’t magically stop being moody just because Jake and I moved in with him. Fortunately, I’ve devised a strategy. I inherited a share in an exclusive erotic club, and they’re beta testing a role-play game. Surrounded by period perfect detail, members pretend to be Edwardian lords and ladies . . . or stable masters, if they prefer.
By switching up our dynamic, I’m hoping to smooth the snags in our otherwise fabulous menage. Neither of my lovers has trouble opening his heart to me, but I suspect Damien would benefit from exploring his dominant side, and he and Jake could be easier with each other.
That’s my goal anyway. My plan might go up in smoke when Jake and Damien concoct their own scheme for me!
The sequel to Beck & Call
Lord & Master is the sequel to Beck & Call, book 2 in Emma Holly’s Billionaires series. Do you need to read Beck & Call first? In my opinion, yes. Even though there’s no cliffhanger at the end of Beck & Call, this sequel brings another layer to Mia, Jake, and Damien’s sensual story. So you’ll definitely want to find out how this sexy menage began.
Mia and Jake have moved into Damien’s luxuriously modern apartment. Life should be wonderful, however, Mia has concerns about Damien. He seems to be withdrawing, not adjusting well to the situation. What Mia really thinks: Damien is having a hard time getting close to Jake. Not only is this Damien’s first relationship with a man, Mia and Jake are the first lovers he has allowed into his very private world in a long time. So Mia devises a plan to bring Damien closer to Jake.
I truly like Mia. She’s mature for her 23 years and she’s a straight shooter, never afraid to speak her mind. She loves her men like crazy, will do anything for them, and is always concerned about their feelings. Mia wants this relationship to grow and she wants it to last. Jake has had both female and male lovers and he’s an easy kind of guy to get along with. No secrets or confused feelings. But Damien…he’s had a rough time of it with relationships and still has trouble giving himself completely.
Remembering how well their Victorian themed LARP (live action role play) session at Diogenes played out, Mia decides it’s worth a shot again. The exclusive BDSM club is beta testing a new version of LARP where members can immerse themselves in historical themed play for an extended period of time, limited only by their imagination. And Mia’s imagination has come up with what she hopes will bring Damien closer to Jake. This time she’s switching up the dynamic with an entirely new scenario for the men.
I didn’t think this menage could get any hotter. I was so wrong! Lord & Master‘s wonderfully unique story blew me away. It’s written from Mia’s point of view, with a fun twist. When their role play vacation begins the three lovers fall into character and we are suddenly reading the journal of Mia as the naive young Victorian woman she is playing. Ms. Holly did such a fantastic job I felt transported in time along with the players. The emotional depth, heart pounding sensuality and hot as hell sex between Mia, Jake, and Damien is made even more delicious by taking place during a time when such behavior was considered illicit. No question about it, these three belong together. One more thing… Mia isn’t the only one with an agenda for the week.
