What happens when a sassy curvy gal who’s looking for love, runs into a drop-dead gorgeous hunky dragon-shifter who’s looking for one true mate?
Kelsie Bell, an outgoing voluptuous college grad, has always known that when the right man comes along, she’ll know right away. And if she decides to be with that man, it will be for good, not until someone better comes along. Of course, she was in no hurry to find such a man — the right time will come eventually, she’d always known that. So when a chance encounter places her in the company of handsome muscular stranger who is looking at her like she’s his favorite treat, she can’t help but feel the unexplained attraction grow stronger and stronger.
Jaydan Auger has lost all hope at finding his true mate. Sure, his brothers have found theirs and proved that it could happen, but being the oldest and still having no luck at finding his dream wife had him all but give up on the idea. That’s when a sassy, gorgeous, curvy Kelsie shows up in his yard. All Jaydan can think of is how can he convince her to never leave his side. Of course, first, he’ll have to explain to her that he’s not just a man, but something so much bigger…
Both Kelsie and Jaydan know they belong together, but nothing that’s meant to be great is easy, is it? Will they be able to overcome their obstacles and enemies? Will true love and destiny persevere after all?
A Flight with Her Dragon is more in keeping with what I’ve come to expect from a good PNR. There is definite heat between Kelsie and Jaydan from the get go. Their encounter with the enemy happens much sooner than in the previous book about Jaydan’s brother, Aidan and adds a sense of urgency that was missing previously.Jaydan and Kelsie are really well suited with his car restoration business and her interest in antiques. All that aside, she is dumped in the deep end rather quickly when it comes to finding out about Jaydan’s dragon and the paranormal world. Things are looking to go rather smoothly when Kelsie is kidnapped by their enemy. It’ll be a challenge retrieving her and defeating the enemy.
I enjoyed A Flight with Her Dragon and would recommend it to anyone looking for a short shifter romance with a bit of magic and suspense.
