Hot, sweet, erotic – I loved it!

I’ve somewhat recently started reading books by Leta Blake and this is the first book I’ve read that she published under her Blake Moreno pen name. I have loved every one of her books that I’ve read so far and Heat for Sale is no exception. This story should not be confused with the Heat of Love series that she writes as Leta Blake. This world has different rules and is a bit darker but also hot and wonderful!

The blurb describes the book very well. While the story might seem a bit twisted, with Heath buying the heat and breeding rights to his dead lover’s son, it is also a wonderful love story. Heath never expects to fall for Adrien and now he doesn’t know how to tell him about his omega father, Nathan.

Wow, the scenes between Heath and Adrien during his first heat are scorching. Turns out that Adrien likes being commanded and loves hearing Heath talk dirty to him. Heath is absolutely smitten with Adrien and wants to love and protect him.

I don’t think this review does justice to the story, I just can’t seem to find the right words to convey how much I enjoyed it. It was tense at times but there was also humor thrown in where appropriate. I was totally engrossed in the story right from the get-go. There were some tense moments when Adrien finds out Heath’s secret but love triumphs and the epilogue showing them together for Adrien’s next heat was a welcome cherry on top!
