Scorcher
I love Anyta Sunday’s books but I have to admit this one had me puzzled in places, kind of like I had missed something. But… I’m glad I kept reading it as the story got better and things made more sense to me. What really made this one work better for me was reading book two.
I think this story would have worked better if it had been fleshed out a little more with more detail given about events in the book. I usually love a novella length story but this one needed a bit more.

Spicy
This book was so good and so much better than book one in this new series. I do think you need to read this series in order as this book refers to things in book one. Also, reading book two helped me to understand things that happened in book one a little better.
Landon messed up big time and his best friend, Ben, hasn’t hardly spoken to him in a year. They’re in Las Vegas for River and Ash’s stag party (the book never did say anything about their wedding) and Landon wants to get his best friend back so he does something very unconventional and when Ben finds out he isn’t happy.
This story has a lot of witty puns in it that remind me so much of other Anyta Sunday stories that I’ve loved. I also cried lots of tears for how both Ben and Landon felt. Ben has loved Landon forever but he can no longer standby and watch Landon date other men. Landon finally wakes up to how he feels about Ben but it may be too little, too late.

Chiseled jaw. Smug attitude. Wild ways.
Chained to his ego—or so everyone thinks. Except his personal assistant, Brook. He knows better.

Choosing honesty is too risky, so instead they choose secrecy.
Choked by their pasts, they dream of a better life . . . and
Charm each other into submission.
Will their pasts ruin what they have, or will they grow together?
C is for Challenging Chance.
Tropes: Alpha male, millionaire bad boy, athlete, help/comfort

Scorcher
Hands down the best of the first three books in Anyta Sunday’s Love Letters series of novellas. This is the kind of story that made me fall in love with her books.
Chance was such an a-hole in Admiring Ash and it seemed impossible that he could ever be redeemed. But, Anyta Sunday did such a wonderful job slowly turning around this reader’s opinion of him that he just might be my favorite former jerk of any book I’ve read this year.
Chance is a privileged, rich jerk but it’s all a cover. He so badly wants his father to be proud of him like he is of his younger brother, Danny. He also is in denial of his true self because he’s afraid that his father will disown him and cut off his allowance.
I love how this book slowly reveals the real Chance and how Brook helps him get his life turned around. Brook and Chance are so good together but it takes Chance a while to comes to terms with this and accept his true self. Brook’s Grandma is a hoot and I loved her character in this story; I hope we see her again in a future book in this series.
Another real gem of a story from Anyta Sunday.

HEART-STOPPING SLOW BURN
A bit about me: I’m a big, BIG fan of slow-burn romances. I love to read and write stories with characters who slowly fall in love.
Some of my favorite tropes to read and write are: Enemies to Lovers, Friends to Lovers, Clueless Guys, Bisexual, Pansexual, Demisexual, Oblivious MCs, Everyone (Else) Can See It, Slow Burn, Love Has No Boundaries.
I write a variety of stories, Contemporary MM Romances with a good dollop of angst, Contemporary lighthearted MM Romances, and even a splash of fantasy.
My books have been translated into German, Italian, French, and Thai.
