Oblivious is a sweet and steamy contemporary m/m romance about best friends who don’t know they’re already dating. Noah and August are always touching, finish each other’s sentences, and bristle whenever the other gets within six feet of a date, but they can’t see what’s crystal clear to everyone else. Oblivious features badly timed schmexy texts, a hot kiss that rocks two men’s universes, and (unofficially, but likely) the highest number of heartfelt marriage proposals in a romance novel ever.

Nice and fluffy!

Oblivious is a perfect title for Noah’s and August’s story. They have been BFFs since they were nine-years-old. They went to college and law school together and they opened their own law firm right after they graduated. Many of their friends and co-workers assume they are a couple but they insist they’re only friends. There’s only one problem… Noah has been in love with August for years but August just can’t see it.

I loved everything about this story. It’s very sweet but also pretty hot. All of my emotions were engaged while reading. There’s witty banter between Noah and August and August’s aunts are a hoot. I also shed a few tears while reading but that just means that I loved it.

A short passage made me smile and my heart feel good. August is having a conversation with a friend:

“Do you trust him?” Danny asks.
I don’t have to think about that. “Yes. Absolutely. With everything I am.”
“Then that’s your answer.”

The blurb is very detailed and I don’t think I can say a whole lot more without giving spoilers. The epilogue set two years after the main story ends is just perfect.
