Synopsis

One night with Reeve Hale wasn’t enough. I knew it when I kissed him, I knew it when I slept with him, and I was certain of it when I walked out of his motel room the very next day.

So when the shy, gorgeous man is introduced as our newest employee at Vino and Veritas, I can’t help but conjure up all the ridiculous ways to convince him to repeat that unforgettable night. Like asking him to be my fake boyfriend at my sister’s upcoming wedding.

Only, I didn’t expect him to say yes.

Playing pretend shouldn’t feel this real. Especially when Reeve is planning on leaving Vermont after the summer.

We agreed to one night. We negotiated a fake relationship. But I’m the one who broke our terms. I wasn’t supposed to fall in love and he was never supposed to be so unforgettable.

Such a good story and so HOT! 🔥🔥

Unforgettable is only the second book I’ve read by Marley Valentine but I’m definitely a fan of her writing now. Unforgettable was just that, I story that I won’t forgot real soon. It just felt so real to me.

Oz and Reeve meet through a hookup app and it was only supposed to be one night but things don’t always go the way we plan; that one night became so much more. I loved how supportive these two were of each other. They are both similar in that neither of them is settled in a career yet, which is concerning to their parents. The big difference is that Oz comes from a loving family while Reeve’s family is wealthy and has never made time to spend with him.

I just love how this story flowed so well for me. I’ve loved all of the Vino and Veritas books and how they are interconnected yet can stand alone. The fake boyfriend trope is one that I always seem to enjoy and Unforgettable is no exception. Oz and Reeve try to tell each other that they’ll just be together for the summer but they both know they are lying to themselves even though they won’t admit it.

The sexy time is plentiful in the book and OMG is it hot! 🔥 After their first hookup both of them felt like it was more than just sex even though they never said so. Towards the end, before things turn upside down, you know for sure that it’s not just sex and I loved how Marley Valentine wrote those scenes.

There really isn’t any major conflict scene in this story but boy did it rip my heart out during the last third or so of the book. Like the good author that she is, Marley Valentine managed to put my broken heart back together by the end of the story and I loved everything about it – even when she was making my tears flow. ❤
