When we were kids, we made all kinds of promises. We promised to always be best friends, to always put each other first, and that no matter what, no one would come between us. Little did we know that life had its own plans.
We grew up and reality set in. We realized that not all love lasts forever, and some promises are meant to be broken. It’s ironic that the promises we made as kids, the ones we thought would hold us together, might just be the very thing that could tear us apart.

So many emotions…I loved it.
Unbroken Promises is the first book I’ve read by Nikki Ash and, oh my!, what a way to be introduced to her work. This isn’t your typical friends-to-lovers story and it’s not like any other MMF ménage story I’ve ever read either.
Cole, Xander and Delilah become fast friends when they are 12 and they go through some tough times together. I just don’t see how I can do justice to this story because I refuse to give anything away. The blurb is great but there is SO MUCH MORE to this story and to discuss any of it would ruin for people who haven’t read it yet.
The book is told in 3 parts, kind of a before, during and after type of breakdown. There are a LOT of chapters in this book but that’s because the story is told in first person and Delilah, Cole and Xander take turns telling the story so each chapter is fairly short. I sometimes become confused when reading a story told in first person because it often happens that it’s hard to tell which character is speaking. This didn’t happen with this book. Designating each chapter for a specific person helped with that but so did the way Nikki Ash wrote the story.
I really feel like I’m sputtering here because I just don’t know what to say except this – if you love to read emotional stories, ones that will break you apart and then put you back together again, then read this one! If you’ve never read an MMF book before don’t be afraid to try this one.
I feel like I should briefly mention that there are very explicit sex scenes and the author uses words to describe female body parts that some might find objectionable. I admit that I was bothered bit at first but the compelling story soon had me forgetting about that issue.
I can’t honestly say whether or not I’ll read more books by Nikki Ash because I mostly read MM stories, but if she ever dabbles into that genre, or writes another MMF, I’ll totally be on board and read more of her work. Unbroken Promises is a book that I’ll remember for a while.

O Factor: Scorcher
Delilah is a naturally gorgeous woman. She has beautiful hazel eyes that shine with every emotion. Her body is beyond sexy with a soft yet flat stomach and a round, perfect ass. And her plump, kissable lips leave you wanting to press your mouth to hers over and over again. She’s never paid attention at school, but so many guys over the years have wanted to get between her legs. Cole and I have threatened the shit out of several of those fuckers who’d talk about wanting to take her out, knowing they just wanted to get in her pants.“
You’re just saying that because you’re my best friend.” She rolls her eyes and her fleshy lips turn into a pout. Without thinking, I lean in and press my lips to hers. “You’re beautiful,” I say again. “I’ve thought about us all being together again more times than I can count, but do you understand if we do this, it will change everything?”
“Maybe that’s okay,” she says and turns her head to look at Cole. “None of us are dating anyone, so we aren’t hurting anyone.” She shrugs. “Sex is supposed to be with someone you love, and I love you two, and no matter where life takes us, I know I will always love you both.”
I glance over at Cole and see he’s frozen in thought, so I say what I’m thinking. “I love you too, sweet girl, and if this is what you want, I’m down, as long as we make one promise.”
“What’s that?” Cole asks, finally speaking.
“All of us or none of us.”
