Molly Duncan, forty-one, has come to Passion Lake for three things. A new job. A new life. And a new Dom. If Passion Lake existed I’d be packing my bags in a heartbeat and hightailing it to Virginia. Owned and operated by a group of ex-SEALS, the town is a haven for folks in the BDSM lifestyle. The Doms are hunky, the submissives fun and full of sass, and ménage relationships are the norm. What’s not to love about a place like that? There is also plenty of suspense flying around Passion Lake, and these Doms will kill to protect their submissives. Very hot indeed. Each new book in the series becomes my favorite, and Passion’s Magic is no exception.

Jared Thompkins is Passion Lake’s newest resident. He’s just won his seventh World All-Around Cowboy title and needs some R&R. He may be only 28 years old but his body is screaming “Get out while you can still walk, old man!” Jared’s brother Mitch has been singing the praises of Passion Lake for awhile now. So Jared decides it’s the perfect place give his body a chance to heal, and maybe even retire. The constant traveling and meaningless one night stands with buckle bunnies holds no appeal. Jared is a Dom through and through and is ready for a lasting D/s relationship. If Passion Lake is everything Mitch says, Jared just might find the submissive of his dreams.

Molly Duncan didn’t expect her new stable manager to be…well, this! Tall, tan, muscled-within-an-inch-of-his-life, long hair, and ice blue eyes that remind her of a wolf. Oh yeah, she’d like to play Little Red Riding Hood with this handsome cowboy. At 41 Molly is proud of her body and confident with her looks. But she’s not going to delude herself. She can’t measure up to the hot young things who most likely throw themselves at Jared on an hourly basis. On top of that, he’s her employee. No philandering with the staff. Not that a hottie like Jared would even give her a second glance.

Passion’s Magic is insta-love at its best; realistic, believable, and brimming with sexual intensity. Jared makes up his mind on day one that Molly is the woman he wants. She’s gorgeous, sexy, and intelligent. And if he’s not mistaken, she’s a sweet submissive as well. He feels it in his soul. He just has to convince Molly. Oh my goodness, Jared! He is wise beyond his years and down-to-earth intelligent. He’s charming, sexy as hell, and holy moley, what a Dom! When he turns on the Dom with Molly you’ll be squirming in your seat while your panties melt. Everything Molly holds true about marriage and submission turns inside out. When she gives in to her desire for Jared, age becomes just a number. Molly is an inspiration for women of all ages. She owns her feelings and desires and pushes away her fears. So what if she falls for a younger man? She listens to her heart without compromising her independence. The chemistry between these two is amazing. Prepare yourself for some scorching hot sex. Lots and lots of scorching hot sex.

Ms. Shelton is not only a talented writer, she is a superb storyteller. Her intriguing plots, rich details, and sexy characters keep you coming back for more. She digs deep, shedding light on her characters. Who they are, what makes them tick, and the experiences that have shaped their lives. You’ll find yourself invested in Jared and Molly, and rooting for their HEA. I hope Ms. Shelton has more stories in line for the Doms of Passion Lake series!

“That’s a very pretty outfit you’re wearin’,” he said, his normal, slow drawl even slower and definitely sexier. “But it’ll look much prettier on the floor. That’s where I would like to see it. Start with the sweater.”
