The rule: Get married and have a baby.
When Grandpa Stinson dies, he expects nothing more than to keep his grandsons together, running the family’s multibillion-dollar business. But he’s got just one unfaltering rule: they have to get married and have a baby first. The brothers disagree…wholeheartedly.
But it’s set in stone.
Follow the rule or you’re one grandson out of luck…
Loving a good challenge, playboy bachelor, TJ Stinson decides to take the bull by the horns and puts out an ad in the local newspaper for a wife and “baby mama.” Determined to get the job done, TJ interviews women, making sure this is in contract only–no ties of love for this particular agreement.
Overhearing one of his ridiculous interviews, Anna Granger decides she’d be perfect for the “role.” But what happens when neither of them are pretending anymore? Their pasts have a way of creeping back up on them, teaching them what Grandpa Stinson knew all along: there’s more to life than just prestige and money.

It’s love or nothing…
The fact that gramps is still trying to run things from the grave isn’t a new or unique plot. Even so, Emma Roman does deliver compelling characters that have you either wanting to clobber them or hug them. I really enjoyed Can’t Get You Off My Mind, the first book in the Somewhere, TX Bachelors series. I enjoyed What’s Love Got to Do With It? just as much. The idea that three multimillionaire brothers have to each find a bride and create a baby within a year of their grandfather’s death or forfeit their inheritance lends itself well to the possibilities of how each of them will go about getting the job done. What’s Love Got To Do With It? is about how TJ Stinson goes about accomplishing his goal.
The Stinson boys lost their parents at a fairly young age. That doesn’t mean that TJ doesn’t recall the relationship his parents had or his drunken mother, not exactly an endorsement for the state of matrimony. Then he fell in love… and she died right after graduation. So, TJ has a plan… never fall in love. He lives his life as a playboy bachelor with weekend trips to Vegas on a regular basis. The only love he holds in his life is for his brothers and the housekeeper that raised them. So TJ has a plan… advertise for a wife willing to have a kid. Do it all by contract. Absolutely no reason there needs to be any love or romance involved. Then he starts interviewing all the bimbos who apply. It’s not until he is approached by a woman not even on his list that his interests are actually piqued. While she is definitely rocking the looks it’s pretty obvious she actually has a head on her shoulders… something rather questionable with all the other applicants he’s seen. Then he discovers who she is… things couldn’t be more perfect. He could provide the influx of money she needs to support her ranch and he’d get a wife he can actually tolerate. Everything seems a go… then she puts on the brakes. The only problem is TJ isn’t ready to call a halt to the exciting ride a life with Anna Granger promises to be.
Anna Granger came from money, but with that money comes strings she wants nothing to do with. Recently she lost all of her funding for the rehab ranch she runs for disabled kids and vets. Now things are becoming desperate. So, when she overhears TJ interviewing applicants for a wife at the local diner she gets the idea to apply herself. It all sounds like the perfect solution. Marry TJ and have an endless source of funds to run the ranch. Then she hears TJ’s terms… she was all in until he said no to love. Well, she’s all out if there is no possibility of love. Granted she didn’t expect him to fall in insta-love with her… but to say right from the get-go “NO” to any possibility? Well, she wasn’t bringing a child into a loveless home. She’d been there and done that and she sure wasn’t going to do it to any child of hers. But TJ isn’t handing in the towel and he just keeps amping up his game. Anna is already a little too far down the road to love and not at all looking forward to getting her heart broken to bits. That leaves her with one choice… calling daddy.
The connection between these two is hot. TJ is just a little deluded if he thinks he won’t fall in love. Anna, for all her background coming from money, is as down to earth as they come. She’s also suffered a few hard knocks in life. The road to HEA isn’t an easy ride and TJ and Anna will have to traverse a few bumps along the way especially when her past comes knocking. Thankfully all roads lead to love. So in answer to the question “What’s love got to do with it?” Everything!
