How deep would your grief go if you lost the love of your life to terrorists and insurgents? His cool under fire garners respect but at the same time, it’s a major cause for worry. No matter what distractions his buddy Zeke attempts he has no interest in leaving her memories behind. Sage and her best friend Rayna were captured over a year ago in the jungles of Africa. They managed to free themselves and struggled just to survive for quite some time but as luck would have it, their freedom didn’t last. Now they await the indignity of another sale and a life of no hope as the nameless play toys of some rich pervert in a foreign country. The only thing that has helped Sage maintain her sanity has been all of her happy memories of her fiance, Garrett. Now the harshness of reality threatens to strip even that from her. Ms. Payne wraps the journey in suspense and thrills that will keep you turning the pages intent not to miss a thing. This is one group of buddies I know I’ll enjoy getting rather acquainted with along with their daring partners as I make my way through the rest of The WILD Boys of Special Forces series.
