Dear Santa,
Please can you send me a guy for Christmas? Someone kind, good-looking, sweet… but who knows what he’s doing? ( If you get my meaning ) You must know SO MANY people. Surely you can give someone a shove in my direction?
I’m serious here!
I need your help.
I’m eighteen and I’m a virgin.
That doesn’t sound bad, right?
Well, in my little town, most of the guys I went to school with are getting a lot of action. And bragging about it. They have their pick of girls.
Only thing is? I don’t want a girl. And gay or bi guys are pretty thin on the ground around here.
Hell, the only gay guy I know of for sure is my neighbor, Mr. Quentin, but he’s ‘ancient’. He has to be at least thirty. Not that he isn’t hot – don’t get me wrong, he’s smoking! He was the coolest teacher ever, but he’s not gonna be interested in a guy my age.
Anyway, Santa…. I know you’re kinda busy right now, but if you could spare a thought for my little problem, I’d be eternally grateful.
Thanks, Santa.
Robin
P.S. I know I made it sound like it’s all about popping my cherry, but a little Christmas romance would be great too. So no guys with snow where their hearts should be, okay? I want ALL the feelz.
P.P.S On second thoughts, make that a lot of romance. But be careful, okay, Santa? I want a guy who’ll steal my heart, not break it.

Sweet but hot, I loved it!
A Guy for Christmas is a sweet-with-heat story. It’s kind of a student/teacher romance but not exactly. Dean was a teacher at Robin’s high school but he was never Robin’s teacher. While this isn’t one of my favorite romance tropes, I trusted K.C. Wells to handle well and she did just that.
Robin was definitely the pursuer in his relationship with Dean, and since Robin was 18 the age difference and the student/teacher aspect didn’t bother me at all. Robin wanted Dean to tutor him in the joys of being with a man. Neither of them really thought it would be more than that until it was.
One of the most difficult things for Robin to deal with was keeping his relationship with Dean a secret from his parents (his idea, not Dean’s). He wants to tell them but he’s afraid of their reaction. When they find out before he was ready, their reaction was worse than he expected.
There are so many great things about this story but one of my favorites was Robin’s twin brother, Ryan. K.C. did a good job with teasers about Ryan and I really hope she’s going to write a story for him.

K.C. Wells lives on an island off the south coast of the UK, surrounded by natural beauty. She writes about men who love men, and can’t even contemplate a life that doesn’t include writing.
The rainbow rose tattoo on her back with the words ‘Love is Love’ and ‘Love Wins’ is her way of hoisting a flag. She plans to be writing about men in love – be it sweet and slow, hot or kinky – for a long while to come.
K.C. started writing gay romance in 2012, and at the time of writing this, (July 2020) she has sixty books published. Judging by the outlines in her Plot Bunnies folder, there’s a lot more to come…
