A great collection of stories!
I haven’t been able to read all of the books in this collection yet but I’ve loved the ones that I have and I’m looking forward to reading the others soon.
Ewe and Me by Colette Davison is a very sweet grumpy/sunshine story. George is a farmer and Robyn is a veterinarian who works for George’s sister. George has been attracted to Robyn since they first met but thought it would be wrong to date his sister’s employee. Robyn felt the same, that it would be wrong to date his employer’s brother. Fortunately, someone played matchmaker for them. 🥰 I loved this story. 5 Stars
Three Lost Now Found by Michelle Dare is the first story I’ve read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It’s a hot ménage story about two club dancers, who love each other but aren’t good matches sexually, and the club’s guard who brings all three of them together. It’s super-hot and sexy. 4 Stars
If the Trap Fits by Gianni Holmes broke my heart during the Prologue but I knew there would be an HEA. This is a bullying story so there is a content warning for mention of bullying in the past and also parental abuse. I love stories where a bad guy gets redemption. This one starts out when the two MCs are in high school (the Prologue) and then moves to present day set ten years later. Maddix is truly sorry for the things he did to Troy in high school. Troy left home after graduation and has only returned for short visits until his grandaunt decides to play matchmaker. He doesn’t want to have anything to do with Maddix but then it wouldn’t be a romance if Troy doesn’t eventually forgive him. I loved this story. 5 Stars
The Matchmakers is a charity anthology that I was very happy to support buy purchasing a copy even though I received an advanced copy to review.
