Synopsis

**No good can come from one night with a gorgeous stranger.**

Dylan has one rule: Never, ever, sleep with his guests at The Changing Tides. He learned that lesson the hard way. When he finds out the enticing stranger he brought to his bed is actually a guest, Dylan tries to tear himself away. But Dylan yearns for more and is tempted to break his one rule—again and again and again.

Cole didn’t expect to end up in bed with a delicious stranger his first night in town. When that stranger turns out to be the owner of The Changing Tides? That’s a complication. Because Cole has a secret. He’s the mastermind behind the new resort coming to town—the one that could put the town’s favorite inn out of business.

A hunger this strong must be sated, and they’re helpless to resist. As they give in, something deeper—a piece that’s been missing—slots into place. But when a secret is exposed, it has the power to destroy everything they’ve worked for—including the love they’ve discovered.

Welcome to The Changing Tides Inn, the perfect getaway for those looking for a little romance on their vacation. Turning Tide is the third and final 60,000 word novel documenting the inn’s (and owner’s) impact on the lives of its guests and can be read as a standalone. Follow the guests’ journeys into love and be assured there will always be a happily ever after.

Great Story!

I loved this story. I really wanted to give it 5 full stars but I had to ding it a half star; but I’ll get to that in a minute. It’s the third book in the Changing Tides series but stands on its own fairly well. However, for the most enjoyment I really recommend reading the series in order. I have to admit that I didn’t read the first book but I wish I had. Not because I couldn’t follow the story in books two and three, but because I know I missed a great story. I must correct that oversight!

When Cole meets Dylan in a bar, his first night in town, he doesn’t know that Dylan is the owner of the inn where he is staying and Dylan has no idea that Cole is a guest of his inn. What should have been a one-night-stand turned into so much more. The problem is that Cole is keeping a huge secret from Dylan. He knows it’s wrong, and he knows it’s going to blow up in his face, but he can’t seem to bring himself to tell Dylan the truth.

Man, the sexual energy and tension between Cole and Dylan was palpable. The scenes when they gave into their desires were smoking hot. The mystery and intrigue surrounding what’s been happening at the new resort being built was great. I loved almost every single thing about this story.

Here’s why I nicked it a half star… I can’t say as much as I want, because it would be too spoiler-y but I felt like there should have been some explanation for what happened after the mystery was solved. It left me with too many questions about how things ended up for Cole and the project he had been involved in. Yes, he ended up back in Seaside and he and Dylan get their HEA, but the story would have been more complete, IMHO, if that part had not been left out.

All-in-all though, I still, I thought this was a beautiful love story and a fitting end to this series.
