Pillow Talk:
Logan Reid hit rock-bottom after a very public scandal ruined his marriage and his business. Hoping to get his life back on track, he agrees to host a nighttime call-in show at PRIDE XM radio in Key West, Florida. When favorite caller Greyson Montgomery is brought in to co-host the show with Logan for a week, sparks immediately fly between them, but will that be enough to bring Logan’s cold dead heart back to life?
Double Talk:
Political talk show host Caine Williams is still recovering from the scandal that cost him a chance to be elected to the U.S. Senate. His liberal leanings are put to the test when Republican pundit Darwin Edwards joins his radio show, Raising Caine. Fireworks erupt between the co-hosts on and off the air, making these polar opposites question their ability to work together, but the one thing they might just have in common is their growing feelings for each other.
Country Talk:
When the man he loved was killed in a tragic accident, country music star Sam Lexington was forced out of the closet and then out of the country music community. PRIDE XM production manager Rhett Myers taps Sam to host his drive-time show, Talkin’ Country. His feelings for the handsome country crooner are an open secret among their friends, but Rhett is hesitant to put his heart on the line, and Sam isn’t sure he’ll ever be ready to love again. Will this pair make the leap from friends to lovers or will they miss their chance at finding happily ever after?

A fantastic series!
I loved each book in the On The Radio series and reviewed books 1 and 2 for this blog. However, I didn’t get a chance to post my review for Country Talk (book 3) before Ms. Pine announced she was issuing the 3 book series as a collection. So, below I’m going to give you a synopsis of my reviews for books 1 and 2 and the complete review for book 3. Each can be read as a standalone but I think you’ll enjoy them more if you read them in order.Pandora Pine is one of the new-to-me authors I discovered in 2016 and she was a keeper.
Pillow Talk
I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction of all of the characters in this story. Yes, the primary focus is on the relationship between Logan and Grey but Ms. Pine has integrated several additional characters into the story which really added to my overall enjoyment of this book.
Logan and Grey’s relationship definitely has a rocky road to travel before they get their HEA. I wanted to knock some sense into Logan at times for hurting Grey, but what good is a romance story without some conflict between the characters? Real life has conflict and emotions and so do the best stories. This one had tears running down my face at times – a sure sign that I’m feeling deeply about the characters and loving what I’m reading.
Double Talk
After their initial meeting things quickly heat up between Caine and Darwin; the attraction between the two men is too strong to ignore. Caine won’t push things though, and lets things move at Darwin’s pace, because he won’t be responsible for Darwin turning his back on what he’s been taught to believe.
I loved the by-play between Caine and Darwin but things just seemed to go too smoothly and I knew it wasn’t going to be that easy. When the hammer dropped I was stunned; I just hadn’t seen the magnitude of the problem coming. The chasm between Caine and Darwin became so wide I wondered how Ms. Pine was going to get them back on track to their HEA. Never fear, though, get them back on track she did. She also wrote a fantastic epilogue with some things in it that I sure didn’t anticipate.
Country Talk
Sam and Rhett have been dancing around each other since book one and I’m thrilled that they finally got their own story.
Sam was a Grammy-award winning country singer when he lost everything within the space of a few months. His lover died in a bus crash and, in his grief, he outed himself at the funeral and then he lost his career.
Rhett also had a successful music career but walked away from it to fight his addiction to heroin and rebuild his life. As the Program Manager at PRIDE XM Radio he hired Sam, and several other gay men with scandalous pasts, to host a show on the radio. Rhett was attracted to Sam from the beginning but knew he had to give Sam time to face his grief before anything could happen between them.
I loved Pillow Talk and Double Talk and Country Talk didn’t disappoint me either. This story probably is the hottest one of the three. When Sam and Rhett finally get together things proceed at warp speed. Everything is going smoothly until Rhett does something without discussing it with Sam first and it nearly tears them apart.
This book is full of emotions; Sam and Rhett are very affectionate and open about it around their friends. I love that all of the characters from the previous books make an appearance in this one. Once I started reading this I couldn’t put it down.
One of my favorite things about Country Talk is the epilogue. I LOVE books with epilogues. To me it’s like an extra dessert and the one in Country Talk gives us a glimpse at all of the On The Radio characters five years down the road. I’m truly sad to see this series come to an end but I’m looking forward to more great books by Pandora Pine.

Pillow Talk, Book 1
Sick of the slogging rat-race of her 9-5 job, Pandora Pine put pen to paper (literally!) to make her ambition of becoming a romance novelist a reality. She cut her teeth in the dog-eat-dog world of fanfiction, still dreaming of the day when she would be a published author. She lives in Massachusetts with her blabbermouth muse and their fictional black kitten, Jack.
She is forever grateful to her writer friends who brainstorm with her and help her corral all her plot tribbles. They can also be relied upon to delete her eclectic internet browsing history in the event of her sudden death. Said browsing history is filled with erotic research (Read: porn!) for her next novel.
In her spare time, Pandora fancies herself an amateur nature photographer. She enjoys mucking around in swamps, hiking through the woods and crawling around on her hands and knees in her backyard seeking out the perfect shot.
Pandora is a fan of roadside seafood shacks and always thinks Mexican food is a good idea at the time.
Some of Pandora’s favorite things are chocolate, writing longhand with purple pens and handsome men falling in love with each other.
