Damsel meet SEAL...
A few words from the author

Damsel meet SEAL…
My thoughts on finishing Delta Salvation… really good and what else does this author have that’s related? Because although the shifters are just peripheral elements in the story they have me intrigued as well. I want to know the story of the secondary characters. Considering my love of PNR, military and MC romances you can believe I’ll be looking for those answers. And then I realize that reading the blurb might not give any of you a clue what the heck I’m talking about. Not to worry I’ll give you just enough info to give you a clue.
Alexa, orphaned when she was about four, grew up in the foster care system. She spent her first years in silence never talking so her education was a bit behind others her age. But now she’s aged out of the system and she works downtown Chicago. She’s dated off and on but any interest in dating dies a slow death when she becomes involved with a real whack job. By the second date, he was taking her to meet his mother… a pet murdering psycho… and her date wasn’t far off the mark. So, it’s no thank you very much to any repeat performances with Danny. Unfortunately, he doesn’t take the hint and corners her in a back alley one night. After a brutal attack that sees her hospitalized, Alexa at the urging of a victims advocate relocates until the trial. A sabotaged tire on her rundown car sees her running for her life through the surrounding woods from her pursuing suiter. When she’s rescued by a tough woman in fatigues with a pack of wolves you might think things are looking up. You’d be totally wrong. Alexa has jumped from one fry pan into another. Survival becomes all about serving in a private army of shifters. It’s brutal and any life she had is gone. That is until she’s rescued once again by the Phantom Force. And the sparks start to fly from the moment she meets Kai.
Kai doesn’t know what to think of the woman they find at the shifter compound. His group of SEALs are on the hunt for an ex-member of their team that turned traitor and escaped federal prison. The compound is the latest place they’ve tracked Jase too. Now he has to wonder if perhaps Alexa knows more than she’s saying. Maybe she’s a mole and in cahoots with Jase. To top that off, she is a civilian with knowledge of shifters. While they can’t really detain her after checking out her story, they can’t exactly let her go without monitoring. A few quick arrangements and he has her set up with a new job and apartment. Both places where her every move can be monitored in the event she’ll lead them to Jase. But even when he lets Alexa go so he can chase another lead, he can’t get her out of his mind. Then all leads draw him right back to Alexa and things get wild and dangerous real quick when they discover they have more traitors in their midst. Keeping the woman safe becomes Kai’s whole focus as he tries to put together why she’s so important to their enemies. Keeping his hands off her while they come up against attacks from all sides becomes a totally impossible task. This SEAL that thought he’d never be wanting to settle down has just met the woman that will have him putting down roots.
Delta Salvation is a great read. The action, danger, and suspense are just the elements I love to move things forward quickly and on the edge of your seat. Expect a few twists along the way. I’m not sure where the Phantom Force series is going next but I’m ready for the ride. I loved the secondary characters and can only hope to see their stories soon. In the meantime, I’m off to find out if Ms. Boon has Kai’s former team leads story in her repertoire because I’m ready to hear about this former SEAL shifter that is the leader of an MC.
